Hard Dream

Poem- Dream Hard- Nightmare

I don’t know what got me to thinking about this today, but I looked at my husband and asked what our daughter used to say.  Oh, that’s right.

When she had her first nightmare and could express it, she was about 3 years old and announced to us, “I had a hard dream!”

Occasionally, even at 9 years old, she will reference nightmares this way.  I kind of like that and wanted to record this memory.Fairy with mask

  1. Aww! I recently discovered a pic where I had written on the back that Sebastian used to call swings a “Whee” because I would say it when I pushed him on one, so he thought they were called that. Kids language is always awesome! I still use words from my little brothers’ vocabularies’ because they are so funny.
